To contrast the Google results, the third child of the President also showed results from Bing, Yahoo, and DuckDuckGo, which tended to show large crowds of people as opposed to anime screenshots. Though it is unclear exactly what Eric Trump means by the word mob, he is presumably referring to his father’s “Left-Wing Mob” talking point, which the President has used to attack Black Lives Matter protesters and his opponent Joe Biden. It would seem he is upset that when searching the word, Google produces images of the popular anime instead of showing large crowds of people.

Searching “mob” on Google does indeed produce many images of Mob Psycho 100, as opposed to large groups of people. Though this could be explained by the fact that Mob Psycho 100 is a very popular anime, Eric Trump asserted that this is instead the work of Google attempting to deliberately misinform the public, implying that Google is trying to hide evidence of, presumably left-wing, mobs rampaging across America.
As mentioned before, Mob Psycho 100 is a popular show, and that likely accounts for its prevalence on Google’s search result, pushing down the images Eric Trump believes should be shown instead. However, it’s worth noting that other websites also contain almost no images of left-wing mobs either. In fact, almost all of the images in Eric Trump’s tweet are in fact pictures of Flash-Mobs, which are simply spontaneous organized events in which a group of participants preforms a song or dance without warning. So unless Eric Trump is concerned about the suppression of information about Flash-Mobs, it would seem that he has made something of a silly mistake. Either way, Eric Trump helpfully tagged his tweet #NothingToSeeHere, so everyone knows not to worry about it.
