The Eye of the Grasp armor set is a Light armor set that seems to be an all-around solid set for Magicka-based characters, especially when it comes to dealing damage. Being an overworld set, the Eye of the Grasp armor set is easier to acquire than the craftable armor sets or the Mythic sets. Plus, with Elder Scrolls Online’s new Curated Items system, it’s even easier than before.

The Eye of the Grasp Set Bonuses

Type: Light Armor, Jewelry, Weapons Two Items Equipped: Adds 1096 Max. Magicka Three Items Equipped: Adds 129 Weapon Damage AND Spell Damage Four Items Equipped: Adds 657 Critical Chance Five Items Equipped: Critical Damage now generates seven Ultimate. This can happen every five seconds.

The Eye of the Grasp armor set is oriented around Magicka users who don’t want to hone in on a specific stat and whose builds rely on Ultimate generation. It increases three major stats with different equip numbers, including Max Magicka, Spell Damage (and Weapon Damage), and Critical Chance. The full set bonus generates seven Ultimate when dealing Critical Damage, too.

It’s a set that gives small boosts to a Magicka user’s stats across the board, though because it doesn’t focus on one or two it suffers from being weaker than some other available Light Armor sets. The Ultimate generation effect with the full set bonus can occur every five seconds, though, giving a significant boost to Ultimate generation. It’s a good idea to pair this set with other sets that increase the chance to deal Critical Damage and proc this effect.

Acquiring The Eye of the Grasp Set

Location: Overworld Set. Pieces all drop from Delve Bosses, World Bosses, Public Dungeon Bosses, and Trials. Requirements: None

The Eye of the Grasp set is an Overworld set in The Elder Scrolls Online’s Deadlands DLC, meaning that it won’t be found in crafting areas, through in-game progression systems, or otherwise. To find pieces to this set, players must go into the Deadlands two Delves, take on the two World Bosses, down the Wandering Executioner bosses, and take on Public Dungeons (for the Deadlands, this is the Atoll of Immolation).

It’s best to get to max level (and CP 160) before hunting down this set so that its bonuses are as high as possible. The Elder Scrolls Online caps armor at Level 50 and Champion Point Level 160, so as long as you’re at 160 or above you should get the highest quality pieces to the Eye of the Grasp armor set in the Deadlands.

The Elder Scrolls Online is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S
